Sessions will meet twice a week for one hour each. Sessions will meet Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tutoring will be virtual and in person for students. Once your child's registration is confirmed they will be scheduled for an IXL placement test online. The results of this test and a parent/student meeting will help MUG tutors complete a personalized action plan for each student. Sessions will be provided by college students from local universities or experienced tutors with years of experience.
Students must have:
1. Access to a quiet location for the session.
2. A computer or tablet with a camera.
3. Paper and pencil
4. Students will be required to complete all assignments prior to each session.
Students will be using IXL for all work completed in math, spanish and language arts. This platform will allow tutors to monitor your child's progress and map out an action plan for students to continue on once the summer is over. MUG senior leadership will monitor sessions and review all test results and reports. Students will also have supplemental resources to reinforce lessons learned.
Help your students reach their educational goals by working with us to give them the time and resources they need to succeed!
